EcomAI Tools is a curated directory of AI and no-code software for Shopify and e-commerce operators. Every tool listed here has been manually reviewed. We do not accept every submission, and we do not list tools we would not recommend to a real operator making a real spending decision.

I built this directory because I kept having the same conversation with e-commerce operators: which tools are actually worth paying for, which ones overpromise, and which ones work well together.
Most comparison sites are outdated, SEO-farmed, or secretly owned by the companies they review. EcomAI Tools is editorially independent. I review each tool based on what it actually does, not what the marketing copy says.
How we select tools
Every tool in the directory passes four criteria before it goes live. If a tool fails any of them, it does not get listed regardless of who submitted it.
Shopify compatibility
Must integrate with Shopify or serve operators who primarily use it. Generic SaaS tools with a Shopify app get preference over web-only alternatives.
Active product
No tools that are sunset, underfunded, or have gone quiet on updates. We check recent changelogs and community activity before listing.
Pricing clarity
We need to be able to explain what operators will pay before they sign up. Tools with deliberately opaque pricing are listed with that caveat.
Real users
We look for evidence of genuine adoption: Shopify App Store reviews, G2 ratings, community mentions. VC backing alone is not enough.
How we research each tool
For each tool, we review the product website and documentation, check pricing pages against what users actually report paying, and read recent feedback on G2, Trustpilot, and the Shopify App Store where relevant.
We cross-reference with what operators in Shopify communities are saying, test free trials and freemium tiers where possible, and look at the product's changelog to understand how actively it is developed.
Tool descriptions are written from a curator perspective. We aim to tell you who each tool is best for, where it falls short, and how it compares to the obvious alternatives. We do not copy-paste from product marketing pages.
How we stay current
Each tool page shows a "Last reviewed" date in the sidebar. We update entries when pricing, features, or the product itself changes significantly. Tools that have shut down or pivoted away from e-commerce are removed from the directory.

Submit it for review. Every submission goes through the same four criteria as the existing tools in the directory. If it passes, it gets listed. If it does not, you will hear why.
