Runway is the leading AI video platform for commercial creative work, and for e-commerce it matters because short-form video on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts is increasingly the primary acquisition channel for many consumer brands. Video background removal, the most commonly used Runway feature in e-commerce, eliminates the need for a green screen setup when filming product content.
